Sunrise over Kilbreedy
|
 |
Sunrise on a cold frosty morning in Kilbreedy,This townland takes its name from Cill Bríde, or Church of Brigid. Here overlooking Rathdowney lies the remains of a small late medieval parish church and graveyard. There is a holy well associated with the great saint near the castle, where pilgrimages were once held.
